These Terms & Conditions govern all orders placed with Precision Marine Tanks. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

📐 Custom Work Disclaimer

All tanks are custom built to your submitted specifications. It is your responsibility to ensure all measurements, drawings, and instructions are accurate.

We fabricate exactly what you submit. We do not verify, correct, or interpret dimensions or intent. If your tank does not fit due to an error on your end, we are not responsible.

 

⚙️ Fabrication Tolerance

Due to the nature of aluminum and TIG welding, all fabricated tanks may vary slightly in final size. We maintain a tolerance of 1/8" on all dimensions.

Variations within this range are not considered defects and are not eligible for refund, remake, or discount.

🚚 Shipping

We ship via UPS and freight carriers. All shipments must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

If your tank arrives damaged, you must:

• Document the damage with clear photos

• Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

• Include photos of both packaging and the tank itself

Claims made after 48 hours, or after installation, use, or modification will not be honored.

Alaska - We have some special guidelines for shipping to AK. Please read our Alaska shipping policy on the shipping page.

 

🔄 Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your order during fabrication. However, you will be responsible for the cost of all materials, labor, and parts used up to the point of cancellation. Refunds are prorated based on work completed.

Once fabrication is complete, the tank is usually non-refundable. Be sure to read through our Return Policy for more info. 

 

📎 Drawings & Approval

We require you to submit a labeled, legible sketch's or drawing with your order. Drawings should include:

• Top-down view with labeled fittings, fitting orientation & dimensions

• End view with overall tank shape & dimensions

• All critical dimensions and orientation of the tank.

 

We will not guess at fitting locations or orientation. If your drawing is unclear, your order may be delayed until we confirm details.

🔒 Final Fitment Responsibility

It is your sole responsibility to:

• Ensure accurate space measurements

• Leave adequate clearance for install and removal

• Understand and apply the provided measuring instructions

If your tank does not fit due to a space issue, clearance issue, or other miscalculation — It usually won't qualify for a return.

 

📞 No Verbal Agreements

All specifications must be submitted in writing through Email. We do not honor verbal instructions, or phone call agreements.

 

🛠️ Warranty Disclaimer

We do not offer warranties of any kind, express or implied. All tanks are sold as-is. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure proper use, grounding, venting, and safe handling of the tank.

 

However, we will honor any verified defects in craftsmanship that result in tank failure under normal operating conditions. If a failure occurs, we will require:​

• Clear photos of where and how the tank is mounted

• Documentation of how the tank is plumbed, vented, grounded, and installed

• ​

Warranty consideration will be at our discretion after full review of the installation and cause of failure.

 

⏳ Lead Time Disclaimer

If for any reason we cannot meet your selected lead time option, we will contact you as soon as possible to confirm the delay and issue a refund for any expedited fees that may apply.

Delays qualify for order cancellation or possible product discounts.

All content, designs, and tools found on this website are the property of Precision Marine Tanks. Copying, scraping, or reproducing any part of the site without permission is strictly prohibited.
